In this role, you will focus on integrating automation and robotics solutions into the design of warehouses and delivery centers. You will apply strong analytical skills to evaluate design options, optimize performance, and ensure the successful implementation of design projects. The role includes close collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and develop simulation models to support strategic decision-making.

Collaborating with operations teams, you'll translate workflow needs into practical designs. Expect to juggle multiple projects, participating in design review meetings and coordinating with architects and civil engineering on detail drawings. You'll troubleshoot design challenges, conduct capacity analyses, and stay updated on industry innovations. The role demands a balance of analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, technical expertise, and effective communication to meet operational goals and deadlines.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) field
• Experience in program or project management including the delivery of cross-functional projects
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)
• 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience
• 8+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
• Experience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment
• Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
• Experience using MS Project, MS Office, and MS SharePoint
• Experience designing or implementing integrated automation solutions such as material handling systems, high-speed packaging lines, or manufacturing lines
• Experience in technical leadership for industrial engineering projects or programs

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
