Hark is hiring an Industrial Designer to join the design team, reporting to the Head of Design. You’ll bring device look and feel to life, taking concepts from sketch to production, working hands-on daily with product, electrical, and acoustics engineers to ensure the design intent is realized.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial design experience in consumer products.
• Hands-on involvement in at least one hardware product that reached production.
• Track record of partnering with engineers to take designs through production.

Responsabilités

• Develop industrial design concepts for hardware and accessories through sketches, renderings, 3D models, and mockups.
• Translate design direction into production-ready surfaces and design specs.
• Build rapid prototypes in-house (foam, 3D print, CNC) to test scale and ergonomics.
• Support color, material, and finish development, including evaluating supplier samples.
• Design physical interaction details: buttons, haptics, light, charging, and holding/placement.
• Collaborate with Product Design, Mechanical, Electrical, Acoustics, and Thermals engineers from concept to mass production.
• Prepare design presentations, renderings, and documentation for reviews.
• Travel to suppliers/manufacturers to review builds and cosmetic quality.
• Contribute to Hark's evolving hardware design language across product families.
