Job summary

TILT in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to shape the future of cannabis vaporization hardware. You will own visual and ergonomic design for disposable vape pens, cartridges, pod systems, and smart devices, balancing aesthetics with manufacturability.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or related field, and a strong portfolio. This role offers hybrid/remote work with full-time, exempt status in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating the full design process from sketches to final rendered products.
• Experience in consumer electronics or vape hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Concept generation through sketching, digital rendering, mood boards based on briefs.
• Develop high-fidelity 3D CAD models and photo-realistic renderings to communicate design intent.
• Define user experience, ergonomics, and CMF specifications with premium, safe materials.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers, Product Managers, and Scientists to align aesthetics with constraints.
• Prototype and test using 3D printing, CNC machining, and rapid prototyping for fit and ergonomics.
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation for overseas OEM/ODM manufacturing.
