SaidGig is seeking a CAD content specialist to help train AI systems by converting complex multi-part FreeCAD assemblies into precise questions and answers. You will extract design intent and craft verifiable Q&A pairs, building multiple questions per assembly across structure, function, and component relationships.

Strong CAD basics and ability to interpret technical drawings are essential. Remote, contract work offers flexibility while contributing to innovative educational AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Background in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design with CAD knowledge.
• Ability to interpret multi-part assembly drawings, CAD files, and technical documentation.
• Experience creating technical documentation or assessment materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with close attention to detail.
• Familiarity with FreeCAD; FreeCAD experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deliverables.
• Interest in education, assessment, or AI-related initiatives.

Role Overview

Apply your CAD and engineering expertise to help train next-generation AI systems on advanced multi-part assemblies. You will examine real-world FreeCAD assemblies and turn their design details into precise technical questions and answers that improve how AI models learn and reason. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Review complex multi-part CAD assemblies supplied in native FreeCAD format and analyze their design intent.
• Create clear, objective technical questions with exact, verifiable answers based on assembly details and functions.
• Develop multiple distinct questions for each assembly, covering structure, function, and relationships among components.
• Ensure all submitted questions and answers are precise, unambiguous, and suitable for AI training data.
• Use mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design knowledge to identify important assembly features and technical nuances.
• Collaborate with project coordinators and provide feedback to improve project processes.

Qualifications

• Background in mechanical engineering, aerospace, or industrial design, with strong foundational CAD knowledge.
• Ability to interpret multi-part assembly drawings, CAD files, and technical documentation.
• Experience creating technical documentation, assessment materials, or similarly structured content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail.
• Familiarity with FreeCAD or comparable CAD software. FreeCAD experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently, manage deliverables, and consistently meet project expectations.

Work Terms

Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

$40 to $80 per hour.
