Job summary

SaidGig is seeking a seasoned mechanical designer to help train next‑gen AI systems by creating precise Q&A sets from real FreeCAD assemblies.

You will analyze geometry, assembly relationships and engineering function, produce verifiable questions and answers, and collaborate asynchronously to refine deliverables on a remote contract. This role emphasizes multi‑part CAD data and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Extensive background in mechanical, aerospace, or industrial design with strong CAD knowledge.
• Experience with multi-part CAD assemblies and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with FreeCAD or comparable CAD platforms; direct FreeCAD preferred.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts in writing and verbally.
• Experience authoring technical questions or engineering training materials.

• Analyze mechanical designs, including geometry, assembly relationships, and engineering function, and develop several technical questions for each assembly.
• Ensure every question has an exact, verifiable answer that requires domain expertise.
• Produce technically accurate, clearly written questions and answers.
• Collaborate asynchronously through written and verbal communication to clarify requirements, incorporate feedback, and refine deliverables.
• Document insights and ambiguities identified during authoring to support ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

$40 to $80 per hour.
