University of Cincinnati invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor, Industrial Design in the Ullman School of Design. The role supports core curriculum delivery, grading, and student advising, with opportunities to collaborate across faculty on multi-section courses and to provide guidance to students.

Onsite teaching; classes may be day or evening. Rank and pay are based on credentials and experience; adjunct appointments are renewed based on need and performance.

Qualifications

• Administer existing core curriculum syllabi with some potential modification.
• Submit grades for all students enrolled in course.
• Refer students with any special needs or circumstances to DAAP advisers when necessary.
• Coordinate with other faculty members for multi-section course alignment.
• May serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate student coursework.
• Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities.
• Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.
