Job summary

Deloitte’s Industrial Data Operations practice seeks a Manager/Solution Architect with deep experience in controls, OT integration, and data architecture to lead foundation advisory and hands-on implementation across OT, edge, and enterprise environments.

You will shape UNS and ISA-95 models, connect historian systems to cloud platforms, and guide architectural decisions in collaboration with delivery teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in controls/automation, OT integration, or industrial data architecture, incl. 5+ years leading OT/edge/enterprise architecture
• 5+ years defining OT-up architecture and 2+ years designing UNS and ISA-95 asset models
• 5+ years linking historian, edge, and enterprise systems in industrial data architectures
• 5+ years leading advisory/implementation workstreams for industrial data or OT integration
• Technical voice in VP/Director-level client conversations
• 5+ years translating between operations/OT and IT stakeholders
• 3+ years plant-floor experience reading P&IDs
• 3+ years with two or more: ISA-95/ISA-88, OPC UA/UNS, historian systems, or edge platforms
• 5+ years maintaining platform-agnostic architecture aligned to implementation needs
• 3+ years coordinating architecture handoffs to cloud data platform delivery leaders
• 3+ years partnering with Cognite Platform Architects on Cognite Data Fusion engagements
• Bachelor's degree or 8 years equivalent practical experience
• Ability to travel ~50% of working time
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Lead foundation advisory and implementation workstreams across OT, edge, and enterprise environments
• Define OT-up architecture, UNS design, ISA-95 asset modeling, and integration topology
• Be the technical voice in VP/Director-level client conversations
• Guide cloud data platform delivery while collaborating with Delivery Manager
• Coordinate with Cognite Platform Architect on Cognite Data Fusion engagements
• Bridge operations and IT, reading P&IDs and translating plant-floor realities
