Afton Chemical Corporation, part of the NewMarket Corporation family, seeks a technical professional to support sales with approval testing and data management in a customer-facing role. You will prepare reports and literature, deliver presentations, and maintain ISO documentation while interfacing with CTS, R&D, OEM, and Marketing to shape market directions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor60s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated understanding of CTS functions and application of best practice standards and techniques typically acquired after at least 5 years of relevant experience in the petrochemical or automotive industry and demonstrated successful Sales & Marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize and execute approval testing plans to meet customer needs.
• Organize data from the approval program and present information clearly.
• Prepare written reports and technical literature for customers and Sales.
• Make oral presentations internally and externally as needed.
• Maintain relationships with team members and customers, stay updated on technology and market trends.
• Ensure safe working environment and adhere to safety policies.
• Maintain ISO documentation and participate in ISO activities.
• Manage projects with CTS stage gate process using Accolade software.
• Coordinate with CTS, R&D, OEM, Sales and Marketing to understand market trends and applications.
• Interface with Marketing and Sales to ensure aligned customer account management.
• Attend industry meetings to influence future specifications.
