Job summary

Petersen is seeking a dependable Custodial Services Worker to support daily cleaning and basic facility upkeep in our factory and office areas. You will complete assigned cleaning tasks and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment under the Custodial Services Lead.

The role offers a 4x10 schedule, on-the-job training, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and a 401k with employer match. Prior cleaning experience in industrial settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in industrial or facility cleaning preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 49 lbs.
• Comfortable working in noisy industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily cleaning tasks as assigned by the Custodial Services Lead.
• Clean equipment, walkways, restrooms, break areas, and common spaces.
• Follow proper cleaning methods for various surfaces and materials.
• Assist with minor painting or routine maintenance tasks when instructed.
• Maintain and properly use custodial equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, sump vacuums, and pressure washers.
• Restock cleaning supplies and notify the Lead when inventory is low.
• Identify and report facility issues or needed repairs to the Custodial Services Lead.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement standards by keeping areas organized and orderly.
