Job summary

Gordon Food Service's Kenosha distribution center is hiring for a Warehouse Order Selector on the 2nd shift. You will select and process orders, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in a cold/freezer environment. No previous warehouse experience is required as we provide training.

Starting pay is $21.95 per hour with a $1.00 2nd shift premium, plus weekly pay, bonuses for speed, and benefits from day one. Candidates must be 18+, able to work holidays and overtime, and read/write in English.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Must successfully pass a drug test and background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Select and process warehouse orders as part of the distribution center team.
• Work in a freezer environment and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Stand for long shifts and follow safety protocols.
• Participate in training programs to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Warehouse Order Selector - 2nd Shift

Distribution Center Address: 10901 38th St., Kenosha WI

Pay: Starting at $21.95 + $1.00 2nd shift premium

Work Schedule

• Sunday - Thursday work week, with Friday and Saturdays off
• Starting between 7:50PM until finish (shifts vary based on work volume)

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. You’ll be on your feet for 10 hours of work, you’ll be lifting up to 100 pounds, and you’ll be asked to work in our freezer, but there’s no experience required - we train you how to get the job done with our dedicated training team. Selecting is hard work, so we’ll pay you a starting wage that scales with production and efficiency- the better you perform, the more you earn. • We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you’re here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
