Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an Industrial Technician to service electric overhead cranes and hoists across the United States. You'll apply electrical and mechanical skills in a safety‑first environment.

Responsibilities include inspections, troubleshooting, on-site repairs, and documenting outcomes for customers. Travel, on-call rotation, and lifting requirements are part of the job. We provide a competitive hourly salary, a company vehicle, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree or equivalent vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair experience.
• Cranes experience is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver's license; willingness to travel and work off-ground.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs on rare occasions; able to climb and work in restricted spaces.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead cranes and hoists at customer sites.
• Provide on-call service as part of a rotation, including after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
• Document findings and obtain customer signatures using company tools.
• Stay aligned with OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, and HMI standards and complete service reports promptly.
