Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial cooling equipment at customer sites. You will work with electrical and mechanical systems, diagnosing issues to keep equipment running smoothly.

A technical degree is preferred, with 2+ years of hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance. Travel up to 20% and full-time on-site schedule. Competitive benefits and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of hands-on experience repairing or maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment.
Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment, HVAC systems, or similar machinery.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Experience working with 200-440V electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

Install, start up, and service cooling equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
Replace faulty parts such as motors, sensors, relays, switches, actuators, and other components.
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
Read electrical wiring diagrams and basic technical drawings.
Test equipment and verify proper operation after repairs.
Complete service reports after each visit.
Provide professional customer service while working onsite.
Travel to customer locations when needed.
