Job summary

Crayola in Easton, PA seeks an Electrical Electronic Technician to provide 24/7 high level support for plant and facility systems, including design, debugging, and commissioning of control systems. You will lead continuous improvement projects to reduce costs and increase reliability across Crayola’s operations.

The role requires deep PLC, servo drives and HMI/OIT programming knowledge, AutoCAD proficiency, and strict adherence to NEC, NFPA, OSHA, UL standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of manufacturing maintenance experience in electrical/electronics/industrial controls.
• Advanced PC knowledge with AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, Outlook; data collection preferred.
• High level knowledge of PLC, servo drives and HMI/OIT programming.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical prints, P&ID and block diagrams.
• Extensive knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, UL and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level industrial control systems maintenance in an automated environment.
• Lead continuous improvement projects with technical input and project management.
• Design and implement control systems to upgrade equipment and reduce risk.
• Develop capital projects: estimating, planning, scheduling, designing, testing and commissioning.
• Read and develop 2D AutoCAD electrical/mechanical schematics.
• Install and repair electrical/controls, ensuring safety compliance.
