Job summary

Aerotek is hiring an Industrial Controls Technician for a permanent, on-site role in Southampton, PA. You will read electrical schematics, wire control panels, and assemble custom test equipment for client projects.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial control systems, experience with refrigeration type machines, and PLC troubleshooting. Occasional travel to client sites is required; company benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with industrial control systems.
• Experience with refrigeration type industrial machines.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics to build and wire control panels for custom equipment.
• Assemble and wire control components and devices per schematics and docs.
• Mount components and assemble systems for custom test equipment.
• Install equipment at customer sites and assist with start-up.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs to restore operation.
• Verify electrical functionality with testing tools.
