Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Controls Technician for a manufacturing facility in Jonesboro, AR. This contract-to-hire role centers on Allen-Bradley/Rockwell PLCs, HMIs, drives, and instrumentation to sustain reliable, high-speed production.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize control systems, manage backups, and lead continuous-improvement activities with cross-functional teams. Shifts available: 2nd 3PM–11:15PM or 3rd 11PM–7:15AM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 3–5 years in industrial controls.
• Experience with AB Rockwell PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and safety circuits.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills; ability to support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize AB/Rockwell PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and servo systems.
• Diagnose faults and minimize downtime across control systems.
• Maintain backups of automation programs and HMI applications.
• Support change management and validation procedures.
• Collaborate with OT, IT, and maintenance teams.
• Follow safety, environmental, GMP standards.
