Job summary

RASP Inc. in New York seeks a Project Manager / Electrical Engineer to lead projects from concept to commissioning, estimate and quote, program and design industrial control systems (PLC, HMI, drives, motion), and provide on-site support.

This role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership, willingness to travel for on-site commissioning, CAD design for schematics and panel layouts, and the ability to respond to challenging non-repetitive design projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial controls design and programming.
• CAD design experience required.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 30 lbs., to a height of 3 feet.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from concept to commissioning.
• Estimate and quote projects.
• Program and design PLCs, HMIs, drives, and motion systems.
• Travel for on-site commissioning.
• Create CAD schematics and panel layouts.
• Handle high-level on-site service calls.
