Job summary

The Haskell Company seeks an experienced electrical controls engineer to lead design and development of automated process and packaging systems. You will design low voltage power and control systems, develop PLC and HMI software, and coordinate data collection and reporting efforts, under senior supervision.

You will also manage vendor schedules, perform startup commissioning, and provide client training while traveling up to 40% as needed to support installations and startups.

Qualifications

• Degreed engineer with 5–10 years of industrial controls design experience.
• Experience in food, pharmaceutical, beverage, or consumer products industries preferred.
• Ability to understand electrical designs/schematics for automation and control systems.
• PLC programming in RSLogix5000 for Allen-Bradley required; other platforms desired.
• HMI programming in Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, or Ignition.
• Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual Design: Prepare/update Control System Architecture Drawings and estimate man-hours.
• Design: Build low voltage power and control systems; prepare BOMs and specs; review drawings; develop PLC/HMI/data software.
• Construction/Startup Support: handle RFIs; supervise panel check-out; update punch lists; train client staff; perform startup checks.
