Qualifications

• Hands-on PLC programming and HMI development in industrial environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis across control systems, instrumentation, and communications.
• Experience designing/modifying live industrial control systems beyond basic maintenance.
• Ability to implement changes safely in live environments with a strong safety mindset.
• Experience with instrumentation, control devices, and system integration in utilities or manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of IEC 61131-3 languages and industrial protocols.
• Certifications like ISA CAP/CCST or OEM platform experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, program, and support ICS/PLC/HMI solutions and technical docs.
• Review packages for upgrades and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
• Support site CAPEX initiatives with scope development and technical review.
• Troubleshoot complex control system issues with operations teams.
• Provide engineering guidance on equipment selection, cost estimates, and implementation plans.
• Apply root cause analysis to prevent repeat failures and improve reliability.
