Qualifications

• Read, interpret, and draft industrial electrical schematics.
• Understand industrial automation components (relays, VFDs, PLCs, terminal blocks, power supplies).
• Draft controls layouts in 2D CAD to support enclosure design and documentation.
• Build preliminary BOMs, research availability, and estimate material/labor costs.
• Cross-reference parts and research datasheets for functional substitutes.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design, 2D drafting, estimating, component selection, and project documentation.
• Convert customer concepts into preliminary BOMs and designs for quoting.
• Complete full, production-ready documentation packages after an order is received.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and iterate through redlines and questions.
• Maintain high attention to detail and deliver clean, accurate final as-built records.
