Job summary

Keystone Clearwater Solutions is seeking a Control Panel Technician to join our Automation team in Washington, PA. You will assemble, wire, test, repair and retrofit WaterForce automation panels and related equipment, support new panel builds, and maintain accurate repair records.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting electrical systems, improving fleet reliability, and working with CMMS to document activities, with opportunities to support instrumentation, flowmeters and valves in a manufacturing

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, or control panels.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
  • Experience with CMMS or similar software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, wire, test, repair, and refurbish WaterForce automation control panels and related equipment.
  • Support new panel builds and modernization projects.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades on automation control systems.
  • Execute panel retrofits to migrate legacy assets to current hardware and standards.
  • Perform functional testing and QA inspections on automation assets.
  • Identify recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to improve fleet reliability.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of panel wiring standards and build procedures.
  • Maintain detailed repair histories, retrofit documentation, and CMMS work orders.
  • Prepare reports related to asset repairs, fleet readiness, and modernization progress.
  • Maintain asset configuration records and testing documentation; support inventory tracking and parts management.
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on flowmeters, instrumentation, actuated valves, and related equipment.
  • Support Automation Engineering, Programming, and Field Operations teams on upgrades and special projects.
  • Assist with commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and standardization efforts; maintain a safe, organized workspace.
