Job summary

Jenkins-Electric-Company-1 is seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Builder to assemble, install, and service industrial control panels. You will read wiring diagrams, wire panels per schematics, and ensure quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include project material management, troubleshooting, and collaborating with engineers. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and preferably an associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology or related fields,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with PLCs, relays, VFDs, power supplies, and terminal blocks is a plus.
• Hands-on experience using standard electrical tools, test equipment, and panel building tools.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or panel shop environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components for control systems.
• Build and wire panels per schematics and company standards.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and identify issues or improvements.
• Troubleshoot wiring or component failures during assembly.
• Ensure panels meet timelines and quality requirements.
• Inspect panels for accuracy and compliance with standards.
