Job summary

Excel Fluid Group in Ohio is seeking a Control Panel Builder for a fulltime first-shift role. The person will assemble, wire, test, and document UL industrial control panels and pump station automation equipment, reading schematics with limited supervision and prioritizing quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will produce clean, reliable panel builds, maintain proper wire routing, and complete required documentation while adhering to NFPA 70E and related safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience building, wiring, or testing industrial control panels.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
• Familiarity with UL panel shop standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire industrial control panels from schematics and BOMs.
• Mount components such as relays, breakers, PLC hardware, and HMIs.
• Route conductors neatly; ensure proper labeling and compliance with UL requirements.
• Perform basic tests and troubleshooting with a multimeter and test equipment.
• Document work, complete checklists, and review drawings for accuracy.
