Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Project Manager with 5–10 years of PM experience in a self-performing contractor environment. The role requires travel and a solid grasp of estimating, budgeting and scheduling across industrial projects.

You will lead site projects, coordinate with clients and supervision, manage bids, contracts and scope changes while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Travel to jobsites is expected.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of project management experience in manufacturing, power, chemical markets, managing projects up to $1M.
• Strong client relationship and business development experience with bids.
• Proven leadership, risk management, and adherence to safety standards (OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Promotes and strengthens our Mission First, People Always culture through daily actions and decisions.
• Plans, develops and oversees site projects with client and supervision, assigning resources as needed.
• Manages costs: estimating, budgeting, forecasting, controlling and reporting.
• Uses project scheduling, bids, takeoffs, change orders, and contracts to process scope changes and milestones.
• Develops relationships to identify opportunities and plan resources.
• Ensures equipment, tools and employees follow SIC policy and safety program.
• Provides regular updates of project status to Senior Management and travels to jobsites.
