Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors Inc. is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale industrial construction projects from our Hoschton, GA office. The role requires 10-15 years of PM experience in heavy industrial settings, strong client relationship skills, and the ability to travel to sites regularly.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing, power, chemical markets managing projects up to $1M with high complexity.
• 10-15 years of client relationship and business development experience; including leading the preparation and development of bids with a successful record.
• Demonstrated success in team leadership, process adherence, ownership/commitment, learning agility and risk management capabilities.
• Strategic thinker who can establish and manage plans while building and fostering relationships.
• Knowledge of safety and relevant OSHA requirements and regulations.
• Proficient PC skills; including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Actively promotes and strengthens core values and culture through everyday actions and decisions.
• Collaborates with Client, other Project Management and supervision to plan and oversee site projects, establish priorities and allocate resources.
• Oversees all cost management facets: estimating, budgeting, forecasting, controlling and reporting.
• Uses knowledge of scheduling, bids, takeoffs, change orders and contracts to identify and process scope changes and project milestones.
• Develops relationships to identify and cultivate opportunities for SIC.
• Plans and schedules resources to meet project demands.
• Ensures compliance with codes and accepted engineering practices; monitors safety programs and field performance.
• Provides regular updates of project statuses to Senior Management; travels to jobsites as needed.
