Job summary

Atalnt Llc is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead ground-up industrial and commercial design-build projects across the Chicago metropolitan area. You will own projects from preconstruction to closeout, coordinating with Superintendents, developers, REITs, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PM experience with a general contractor or design-build firm and strong budgeting, scheduling, and client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience working for a commercial general contractor or design-build firm.
• Proven ground-up industrial or commercial construction experience.
• Experience managing warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, build-to-suit developments, or similar projects.
• Strong experience with budgeting, subcontractor buyout, scheduling, cost reporting, and financial controls.
• Experience working with developers, REITs, or similar CRE clients.
• Ability to manage projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong subcontractor coordination, contract administration, and project execution.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship management abilities.
• Must live within commuting distance of the Chicago area and be available for onsite work.

Responsibilities

• Lead ground-up industrial and commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Manage warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, build-to-suit, and related commercial construction projects.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
• Coordinate construction activities with Superintendents, field teams, and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects meet schedule, cost, quality, and contractual expectations.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, and design consultants through the design-build process.
