Job summary

H-E-B Industrial Properties Partners is seeking an Industrial Construction Project Manager II to lead multiple medium to large scale projects with substantial budgets. The role requires a related degree, 8+ years in industrial construction, and the ability to manage several projects concurrently for the Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Transportation divisions.

Qualifications

• A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience.
• 8+ years of construction management, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple, concurrent projects of medium to large complexity with medium to large budgets.
• Manages all aspects of project development / closeout with internal divisions, vendors, and governing agencies.
• Develops project scope, budget, and schedule with appropriate internal customer.
• Prepares request for proposal (RFP) for medium complexity projects.
• Assists in preparation of design-build construction contracts for certain projects.
• Coordinates / conducts project inspections during construction; reports on project status.
• Ensures project cost control with a focus on cost reduction; assists in producing cost estimates and preliminary budgets.
• Manages bid process for all projects.
• Manages project scheduling and compliance.
