Actalent in Kentucky is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple industrial construction projects from kickoff to closeout, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to budget and contractual requirements. You will coordinate with customers, field leadership, safety teams, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain schedules and allocate resources.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial project management experience.
• Strong pre-planning and scheduling skills.
• Experience with cross-functional teams in industrial/construction settings.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Financial forecasting and cost control experience.
• GED or High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple industrial construction projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
• Lead the project lifecycle from estimator handoff through completion, maintaining clear communication with customers, field leadership, safety personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Create, update, and maintain detailed project schedules, including look-ahead schedules and manpower forecasts, to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and distribute project reports that communicate progress, risks, and financial performance to stakeholders.
• Coordinate field crews, Foremen, subcontractors, vendors, equipment, materials, and permits to ensure that all resources are available when needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication, proactively addressing questions, concerns, and changes throughout the project.
• Manage project costs and labor productivity, monitoring budgets and performance to maximize project margin.
• Perform financial forecasting for assigned projects, tracking revenue, costs, and profitability against plan.
• Process and manage change orders, ensuring scope changes are documented, priced, approved, and integrated into project plans and schedules.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, taking proactive action to prevent delays, cost overruns, and safety issues.
• Coach and develop field leadership, providing guidance, feedback, and support to enhance team performance and project outcomes.
• Proactively address project delays and issues, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in industrial, manufacturing, and construction environments to align project goals and deliverables.
