Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Some professional experience in the industrial construction industry is preferred, but not required.
• Strong ability to interpret and produce engineering drawings and schematics.
• Mathematical proficiency with fractions, percentages, ratios for practical situations.
• Attention to detail and ability to solve practical problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to meet deadlines.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Generate, log, track, and process RFIs and product submittals to keep engineering data moving between field crews and design engineers.
• Evaluate drawing revisions and contract modifications to identify discrepancies, quantify cost impacts, and share updated specifications with the field.
• Maintain project records and markups to compile closeout documentation and asset handovers.
• Interpret engineering blueprints and equipment diagrams.
• Conduct site walkthroughs to verify compliance with the quality plan.
• Perform field measurements and layout verifications for alignment.
• Assist in developing and updating the master construction schedule using Primavera P6.
• Track daily labor, equipment, and supplier invoices against the budget.
