Job summary

Saulsbury is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support and manage stages of industrial construction projects at the Permian Basin site. You will oversee procurement, scheduling, budgeting and information flow from the Project Manager to the project team.

The role requires strong communication, team leadership and problem-solving skills, plus a BS/BA in a related field and at least four years of experience.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4+ years in industrial construction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project design meetings and suggest improvements.
• Assist with procurement, take-offs, RFQs, materials orders, and on-site delivery.
• Develop technical queries and RFIs to support engineering solutions.
• Plan team goals, schedules and information flow.
• Supervise projects and coordinate team members to keep workflow on track.
• Prepare proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails.
• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide technical support and resolve discrepancies for stakeholders.
