Job summary

Saulsbury Industries is seeking a seasoned Commissioning Lead to drive commissioning activities across projects in the Permian Basin / South Plains. This full-time role requires directing planning, testing, documentation, and handover to operations or clients.

You will coordinate with project management, engineering, construction, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring safety standards and project specs are met. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years commissioning, construction, engineering, or project management experience.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary commissioning teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage commissioning plans, schedules, and documentation.
• Coordinate activities with project management, engineering, construction, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Lead equipment and system testing, startup, and performance testing.
• Track progress, punch-list items, and corrective actions.
• Review drawings, specifications, equipment documentation, and testing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with codes, safety requirements, and project specs.
• Manage commissioning teams and coordinate third-party specialists and vendors.
• Prepare progress reports and final handover documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates.
• Support troubleshooting during startup.
• Coordinate final system acceptance and turnover.
