Job summary

Accelera seeks an Industrial Construction Manager to lead installation projects across client sites. The role requires frequent travel to oversee equipment, piping, electrical, structural, and mechanical installations, while ensuring quality and safety.

You will direct subcontractors and field crews, review blueprints and P&IDs, manage timelines and budgets, and coordinate with vendors and engineering teams. Strong leadership and OSHA knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven background in superintendent roles or industrial construction management.
• Experience overseeing equipment installation, structural, piping, or mechanical projects.
• Ability to lead teams and manage field personnel effectively.
• Experience in demanding manufacturing and industrial settings.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex technical drawings and construction plans.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
• Willingness to travel extensively and stay at project locations.

Responsibilities

• Direct all field installation tasks and industrial building projects at client locations.
• Commit to frequent travel across the United States to support project needs.
• Provide leadership to subcontractors, construction crews, and field foremen.
• Oversee the integration of piping, electrical, structural, and mechanical systems during installation.
• Analyze project documentation, P&IDs, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Create and sustain effective work plans, staffing levels, and project timelines.
• Track equipment usage, material costs, and overall project productivity.
• Facilitate communication between vendors, customers, project managers, and engineering teams.
• Promote a culture of safety by ensuring OSHA standards and site protocols.
• Facilitate regular progress reviews, site inspections, and safety briefings.
• Proactively address field challenges to minimize downtime and delays.
• Handle project closeout tasks, documentation, and change orders.
• Verify installations align with customer requirements and high-quality standards.
• Manage final turnover, commissioning, and punch-list resolution.
