Job summary

Sundt Enterprise is seeking a skilled construction worker to assist craft teams and perform tasks across disciplines as directed by supervision. The role requires the ability to take direction from a foreman and contributes to safe, high-quality output.

Ideal candidates have NCCER Core or a HS diploma and 1–3+ years of industrial/commercial construction experience, plus strong verbal and written communication and a safety-conscious approach to daily tasks.

Qualifications

• NCCER Core Curriculum and /or a High School diploma or equivalent is also preferred.
• One year experience (level I), two years' experience (level II) and three plus years' experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry is preferred.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Effective Math skills - add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Eliminate WASTE such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
• If unsure about any aspect of the work or issues regarding safe practices ask a supervisor before continuing.
• Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work.
• Learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment.
• Look for opportunities for improvement in all tasks, means and methods regarding the work and be willing to learn from others.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the crew.
• Produce high quality work, safely and productively at all times.
• Provide feedback to ensure all materials, tools, equipment and information is available for the work.
