The estimator will consider material inflation, logistics, and field labor constraints. Ideal candidates hold a construction management or related degree with 5+ years of industrial experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Equivalent field experience (typically 5+ years) as an industrial tradesperson, superintendent, or project manager can offset a formal degree.
• Certification as a CPE or CCP is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed, data-rich cost profiles for industrial bids.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze technical specs and drawings.
• Review engineering specifications to ensure code compliance.
• Solicit and integrate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Develop contingency plans accounting for market shifts, delays, and logistics.
• Forecast field labor productivity with input from on-site managers.
• Conduct post-project audits to refine bidding accuracy.
