Insight Global is seeking a Cost Engineer to support project controls, cost forecasting, and financial reporting for a large industrial construction project in Alaska's North Slope. The role requires collaboration with project leadership to monitor budgets, track progress, manage change orders, and ensure accurate cost forecasting throughout the lifecycle.

Benefits include extensive overtime at 1.5x pay and a schedule of 2 weeks on-site followed by 2 weeks off.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in industrial construction projects.
• Strong budget management, progress measurement, cost analysis and reporting.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support project cost controls and project controls reporting.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and cost forecasts.
• Track project progress, productivity, and earned value metrics.
• Assist with change order estimates, change requests, and change management.
• Create weekly and monthly cost reports for project leadership.
• Monitor budget performance and identify cost risks or variances.
• Analyze and communicate project trends through reports and dashboards.
• Support Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and work package coordination.
• Work closely with field teams to track progress and productivity.
