Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in industrial construction projects.
• Strong budget management, progress measurement, cost analysis and reporting.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Track project progress, productivity, and earned value metrics.
• Assist with change order estimates, change requests, and change management.
• Create weekly and monthly cost reports for project leadership.

• Analyze and communicate project trends through reports and dashboards.
• Support Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development and work package coordination.
• Work closely with field teams to track progress and productivity.

Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Cost Engineer to support project controls, cost forecasting, and financial reporting for a large industrial construction project in Alaska's North Slope. This position will work closely with project leadership to monitor budgets, track project progress, manage change orders, and ensure accurate cost forecasting throughout the project lifecycle. The pay rate for this role is between $40-$55 an hour depending on previous experience and will include extensive overtime at 1.5x pay.

Schedule & Travel

• 2 weeks on-site (North Slope, Alaska), 2 weeks off
• 12-hour workdays while on rotation
• Candidates can live anywhere within the US (preferably CST/MST/PST) but MUST be able to travel onsite for two weeks every two weeks

Day to Day

• Support project cost controls and project controls reporting
