Job summary

4C2 Industrial in San Antonio, TX seeks an Assistant Project Manager to run industrial construction and maintenance projects from estimate to closeout. You’ll work with clients, plan and schedule work, manage costs and lead crews and subcontractors across multiple trades.

Responsibilities include coordinating change orders, tracking costs, ensuring safety and quality standards, handling closeout documents, and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineer or 3+ years of process piping project experience.
• Able to read blueprints and construction documents.
• Strong math, communication, organization and leadership.
• Willing to work overtime, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record meets policy.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients, walk sites, estimate jobs and write detailed proposals.
• Plan schedules for labor, materials and equipment, and coordinate ordering.
• Manage multiple projects and trades (mechanical, sheet metal, piping, millwright, insulation, etc.).
• Prepare, track and negotiate change orders with clients, subcontractors and vendors.
• Manage subcontractors, submittals and shop drawings.
• Track costs against budget, forecast expenses and assist with billing and invoice approvals.
• Uphold 4C2 safety and quality standards, including site-specific safety plans.
• Handle closeout: punch lists, as-builts, O&M manuals, final billing and warranty follow-up.
• Maintain excellent client relationships.
