Job description

KBS is recruiting for an Industrial & Commercial Construction Foreman! We are looking for a candidate who is capable of performing, overseeing, and/or coordinating activities of employees and subcontractors that handle minor maintenance and engineering tasks as well as carpentry, fabrication, welding, and equipment setting. This is a working foreman position that will coordinate subcontractors as necessary and lead and work alongside KBS employees.The work environment of this position will typically be in an industrial setting.

• Capable of performing layout, reading blueprints, assigning duties, planning the next tasks, inspections, timekeeping, and making sure materials and tools are available for the crews as directed by the superintendent.
• Executes tasks and activities as directed and in accordance with plans and specifications provided by the superintendent.
• May be responsible for reporting the crew’s daily production and assisting the superintendent with production goals, solving problems, and task planning.
• Provides on-the-job training for company apprentices.
• Ensures compliance with quality and production standards established by the superintendent’s task plans.
• Coordinates with other trades on jobsite to ensure job schedules are met.
• Fosters a positive attitude within the crew.
• Watches for compliance with safety policies.
• Keeps jobsite clean and free of debris as needed for a safe environment.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as directed by the superintendent.
