Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Batchmaker to support the Cary, IL manufacturing team. You will follow detailed batch instructions, pull and stage raw materials, and operate high-speed mixers and related equipment to create industrial/architectural colorants.

Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential in this role. You will monitor materials, maintain records, and collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time.

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Experience in batchmaking and manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

Select, pull, measure, and stage raw materials for manufacturing.
Follow batch slip instructions to mix and blend using high-speed mixers.
Make lab adjustments and maintain daily premix samples.
Operate paint-making control systems and equipment including high-speed dispersers and pumps.
Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality.
Keep logs and report breakdowns promptly.
Maintain production records and collaborate with other departments.
