Job summary

American Trim seeks a Process Engineer – Paints & Coatings to provide technical leadership for industrial paint, coating and finishing processes at its Sidney, OH facility. The role blends hands-on manufacturing support with process engineering and project leadership across Engineering, Quality, Production and customers.

You will develop new processes, troubleshoot coating concerns, and drive launches of new or revised products while focusing on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

Must be able to solve practical problems and handle multiple variables with limited standardization.
Able to develop and manage project plans, coordinate teams and track progress.
Strong communication and presentation skills; convey complex data clearly.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop and implement engineering solutions to improve processes, quality and efficiency in paints & coatings.
Lead process development, troubleshooting, continuous improvement and cost estimation for new/revised products.
Plan equipment/layout, support projects from concept through launch, train employees on new processes.
