Job summary

American Trim is seeking a Process Engineer – Paints & Coatings to provide technical leadership for industrial paint, coating and finishing processes. This position combines hands-on manufacturing support with process engineering and project leadership, working across Engineering, Quality, Production and customers to develop new processes, troubleshoot coating concerns and launch new or revised products.

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to solve practical problems and coordinate projects while managing timelines and budgets.
• Ability to communicate effectively and present data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and implement solutions to improve manufacturing processes and coating applications.
• Support new and existing products through process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Plan projects, design equipment and facility layouts, estimate costs and train employees.
• Develop and maintain supporting documentation for activities and ensure accessibility for reviews.
• Create cost estimates and quotes for new or revised products and initiate quotes.
• Lead implementation of process improvements and redesigns to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
