Job summary

Coatings Unlimited in St. Louis, MO seeks a seasoned Project Manager to own industrial coatings, linings, and fireproofing projects from bid to closeout.

You’ll define scope, schedule, budget, manpower, and the client relationship, working with field foremen to keep crews safe and on spec. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial or heavy construction project management, can read drawings and contracts, and manage change orders, costs, and schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing industrial or heavy construction projects.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and contracts, and to manage change orders.
• Cost control and schedule discipline across multiple concurrent jobs.
• Clear, direct communication with clients, crews, and vendors.
• Coatings, linings, or fireproofing experience preferred.
• A valid driver's license.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and stay calm under pressure.
• Ability to work as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Own industrial coatings, linings, and fireproofing projects from bid/award to closeout: scope, schedule, budget, manpower, materials, change orders, and the client relationship.
• Work with field foremen to keep crews safe, productive, and on spec.
