Job summary

Trueline in St. Louis, MO, seeks a Senior Estimator / Project Manager with industrial coatings, linings, or fireproofing experience to lead complex projects from estimating through completion onsite.

This role blends estimating with project execution, focusing on profitability, client relations, and safe, on-time delivery across nationwide projects. 8–10+ years preferred; relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in industrial coatings, linings or fireproofing projects.
• Contractor-side experience with field execution and project finances.
• Experience with lump-sum contracts, cost control, forecasting and profitability.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft 365 proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Estimate industrial coatings, linings, fireproofing projects.
• Review drawings, specs, surface prep, coating systems, access and containment.
• Develop takeoffs, labor/material pricing, equipment costs and lump-sum proposals.
• Manage projects from award through mobilization, execution and closeout.
• Coordinate field supervisors, craft labor, subcontractors, materials, equipment and schedules.
• Track budgets, labor productivity, change orders, progress billing, forecasts and profitability.
• Partner with field teams to meet safety, quality, technical and customer requirements.
• Maintain customer relationships and pursue repeat and additional work.
• Travel to project sites for mobilization, oversight and meetings.
