Blue Collar Services in Stratford, CT is seeking an Industrial Epoxy Coating Technician with 3+ years of epoxy flooring, painting, or related skilled trades. You will install epoxy, urethane, and polyaspartic flooring, perform surface prep, and support commercial/industrial projects to ensure high‑quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of epoxy flooring, commercial painting, concrete restoration, construction, or related skilled trade.
• Experience operating power tools and surface preparation equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass customer-required background screenings.
• Comfortable working overtime, weekends, or off-shift hours when projects require.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface preparation including concrete grinding, shot blasting, scarifying, and minor concrete repairs.
• Assist with commercial and industrial painting projects.
• Operate grinders, pressure washers, HEPA vacuums, and other specialized equipment.
• Complete industrial cleaning and site preparation.
• Follow safety procedures while delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Work alongside a professional team to complete projects on schedule.
