Job summary
Aerotek in Hampton, IA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manual and CNC production equipment in a manufacturing environment. The role covers mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance, supports new equipment installations, and ensures safe, reliable operation of all plant machinery.
You will work with high-voltage systems, perform preventive maintenance, read schematics, and collaborate with maintenance and production teams.
Qualifications
- Two to four years of vocational training or six+ years in a related maintenance field.
- Two to five years of mechanical or industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot manual and CNC equipment to identify issues and perform repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment per work orders.
- Repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Work safely with electrical systems up to 480V and diagnose motor controls.
- Read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics to support repairs.
- Design and implement control solutions for new or refurbished equipment.
- Relocate machinery as needed and assist with disassembly/reinstallation.
