Job summary

MPW Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable Technician to support operations through hands-on industrial cleaning and labor tasks. You will help maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality work environments across job sites with a strong safety focus.

Expect a team-oriented setting with on-site work, long shifts, and potential travel. The role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to quality while following OSHA guidelines and MPW safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical concepts and equipment operation in industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform continuous physical labor on 8–12 hour shifts.
• Ability to travel to job sites as needed, including out-of-state assignments, and work flexible schedules including overtime, weekends, and extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at assigned job sites on time and maintain a professional, respectful attitude toward coworkers and customers.
• Perform industrial cleaning and labor support tasks as directed by team leaders, supervisors, or account managers.
• Operate manual tools and production-related equipment safely and efficiently to support job completion.
• Monitor work processes to ensure quality standards and operational efficiency are consistently met.
• Identify and report equipment issues, safety concerns, or process problems to the team leader immediately.
• Maintain work areas, equipment, and break spaces in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times.
• Complete required daily documentation, including shift summaries, logs, and inventory reports as requested.
• Assist with on-the-job training and onboarding of new employees or transferred team members.
• Follow all company policies, employee handbook guidelines, and supervisor instructions.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and MPW safety standards in all work activities.
• Communicate job progress, issues, and updates clearly to supervisors and team members.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.
