Job Overview

This position is responsible for operating tools and equipment at various customer sites to provide industrial and environmental cleaning services.

Essential Functions

1. Adhere strictly to MPW Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
2. Arrive on time, in uniform, properly groomed, alert, and physically capable of working. Follow the branch process for scheduling.
3. Set up the jobsite, including water blast hoses, vacuum hoses, barricades, and tags.
4. Operate equipment such as water blast guns, water lances, dry and wet vacuum hoses, shovels, picks, automated tooling, aerial platform lifts, and other necessary tools.
5. Clean equipment before returning it to the MPW branch.
6. Show initiative in completing assigned tasks.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

1. Maintain a valid ID for access to customer sites.
2. Preferred experience with equipment or maintenance environments.
3. Experience performing manual labor outdoors.
4. Preferred 2-3 years of hands-on experience with tools or heavy equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with or without accommodations.
• Capable of performing manual labor consistently.
• Maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
• Position oneself for work in confined spaces.
• Wear respirators in environments with chemicals or fumes.
• Travel to various states for days or weeks, with shifts exceeding 8 hours.
