Office Pride of Birmingham-Trussville is seeking a part-time Industrial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness in an industrial setting. Morning shift from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the North Birmingham, AL location.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Able to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, bending, lifting up to 35 lbs).
• Must have valid driver’s license and steel-toe shoes.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize industrial equipment, machinery, and workspaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove debris from floors and surfaces.
• Dispose of industrial waste following company and environmental guidelines.
• Use cleaning chemicals and tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas in a sanitary condition.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report replenishment needs.
• Follow safety protocols including PPE.

What You’ll Do

• Use industrial cleaning chemicals and tools safely and effectively

• Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Report any maintenance or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support the facility’s cleanliness

What We’re Looking For

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling practices
