Job summary

Office Pride in Anniston, AL is hiring a detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner for a part-time role with evening shifts Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturdays 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. You will maintain cleanliness and hygiene in an industrial setting by following standard procedures and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling practices.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, bending, lifting up to 35 lbs).
• Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility.
• Understanding of safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must care about quality.
• Must be detailed oriented and work at an efficient pace.
• Must be reliable.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Must have steel toe shoes.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize industrial equipment, machinery, and/or workspaces
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove debris from floors and surfaces
• Dispose of industrial waste following company and environmental guidelines
• Use industrial cleaning chemicals and tools safely and effectively
• Maintain restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas in a sanitary condition
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report replenishment needs
• Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Report any maintenance or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support the facility’s cleanliness
