Job summary

Office Pride of Birmingham-Trussville is seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner for our Anniston, AL location. This part-time role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing industrial spaces, following safety rules, and maintaining hygienic work areas.

The position offers an evening schedule Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturdays 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with training, development, and opportunities for advancement within a trusted team.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, bending, lifting up to 35 lbs).
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Must have steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize industrial equipment, machinery, and/or workspaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove debris from floors and surfaces.
• Dispose of industrial waste following company and environmental guidelines.
• Use industrial cleaning chemicals and tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas in a sanitary condition.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report replenishment needs.
• Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
• Report maintenance and safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Assist with other duties to support facility cleanliness.
