Patriot Erectors LLC Steel Fabricators is seeking a Shop Operations role in Texas to perform essential fabrication duties in a non-climate-controlled production environment. The position involves lifting and positioning materials, assisting in welding, and handling equipment, with emphasis on safety and steady, independent work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and/or 3 months of training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Lifts, positions, and removes work pieces; assists in fitting and welding.
• Attaches chain and handling equipment to material for crane/jib movement.
• Cleans buckshot, burrs and surface imperfections prior to load out.
• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
• Familiar with grinders, scrapers, hammers and other handheld tools.
